People’s Television offering internships through Purchase College

Two four-credit internships are officially available to Purchase students for the Spring 2007 semester.

Web/Graphic Development Internship
Student graphic/web designer to assist in layout/design and implemenation of visually focused web sites for nonfiction films produced by People’s Television. Intern will gain experience and ultimately be responsible for preparing videos for flash and other web-capable video formats. Intern will be able to work primarily from home/campus.

Video Editing Internship:
The qualified candidate will assist editing feature-length nonfiction programming. Responsibilities will include digitizing and logging footage, editing video and audio in our macintosh editing suite, and potentially shooting supplemental material in the NYC area on professional video equipment.
