People’s Television seeking interns

We currently have four internship postitions available for students for the Fall 2008 semester.
Internships are available for students of either SUNY Purchase College or CUNY Hunter College.

Internships are for four-upper level credits.  SUNY Students must have a minimum of 30 credits to apply.  Intern will be able to work primarily from home/campus but must some work will be required at our office in upper Manhattan.  Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

May Updates

La Americana nears completion, and a fine cut will be completed on May 25th. Subsequently we will be holding feedback screenings in NYC, so please put yourself on our e-mail newsletter list to find out when! (www.peoplestelevision.com/laamericana/)

We are continuing to interview filmmakers for the ppls.tv podcast, and recently spoke with Annie Sundberg, director of The Devil Came on Horseback in her Chelsea studio, so stay tuned for that video. People’s Television brings two new members aboard

Welcome to Dan Bochichio and Anthony Maddalena, who will be working hard the next few months designing the official website for “La Americana,” to be released in early May.

Dan Bochichio is currently a junior in the New Media program located at SUNY Purchase. Dan has dedicated almost a decade of his life finding ways to increase his web development skills. While in school, Dan has also setup and started a production company, KalKal Productions, whose main focus, is to promote underground music through the means of video on the web. Dan also spends his weekends teaching videography and Web Design to the youth of White Plains.

Anthony Maddalena is a student of Graphic Design and Art History attending the School of Art and Design at Purchase College. He has worked with several companies as a freelance and assistant graphic designer, including DC Comics, Nice View Productions and more recently, Bridge Records.

Jordan Forkey joins People’s Television

Welcome to Jordan, who will be working on pplsTV’s forthcoming “The Grey Movie,” along with Justin Thomas and Nicholas Bruckman. More info on this project TBA.

Jordan Forkey is a 25-year-old junior at SUNY Purchase completing a degree in cinema studies. As well as going to school, Jordan has a feature-length instructional DVD due to release in 2008 from Music Sales Group, based on the teachings of drum legend Buddy Rich. As an editor, Jordan has worked with several different production companies including Pacific Street Films and CMJ productions. Jordan has just finished his final cut on the 45 minute HD film Les Portes de Dennis, dealing with adolescence, drugs, and mental disorders.

1984 Art Show Monday Night!
