Director/Producer: Nicholas E. Bruckman Nicholas Bruckman recently graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Purchase College. He was manager of the college's cable TV station, PurchaseTV. His thesis film, "Kashmir: Voices of Occupation," a documentary short about the war-torn Himalayan region, earned him the statewide SUNY Chancellor's Award. Nicholas recently received the Reach Film Fellowship to produce his next project, "The Grey Movie," a documentary short exploring the state of dissent in America through the eyes of several young revolutionaries in New York City. La Americana is his first feature film. |

Co-Director: Jesse Thomas Jesse Thomas majored in Economics and Political Science at SUNY Purchase. He composed music for a feature-length film and has traveled extensively, including to Kashmir and Spain, for other documentary projects. Jesse acted as comanager for PurchaseTV and currently works for Seed Magazine developing their on-line video channel. |

Director of Photography, Supervising Editor: John Mattiuzzi Prior to working in film, John Mattiuzzi has worked as a muralist, graphic designer, photographer, sculptor, painter, and storyboard artist. Recently, John's mural "A City of Heroes" was on exhibition in "9/11: A Nation Remembers" in Philadelphia. Since receiving his BFA at SUNY Purchase, he has worked in the arts in NY, Mexico City, Spain, and San Francisco. John joined the People's Television team in Bolivia in the summer of 2006 as Director of Photography and Supervising Editor of La Americana. |

| Translator, Assistant Editor: David Jaramillo After emigrating from his native Ecuador, David attended CUNY’s College of Staten Island where he recently received a dual degree in Cinema Studies and Communication. Aside from being an aspiring filmmaker David is a self-trained guitar-player and salsa dancer. David has worked with Staten Island Community Television and is working currently as the translating supervisor for “La Americana” at People’s Television. |

| Daniel Bochichio, Web Developer Daniel is currently a junior in the New Media program located at SUNY Purchase. Daniel has dedicated almost a decade of his life finding ways to increase his web development skills. While in school, Daniel has also setup and started a production company, KalKal Productions, whose main focus, is to promote underground music through the means of video on the web. In Fall of 2006, Dan helped produce a non-traditional narrative film, a "Choose Your Own Adventure" horror movie, titled "Scared Yet?" |
