We are now inviting advocacy, educational, policy, and faith-based organizations across the country to partner with us in hosting a La Americana community engagement event.

By providing a space for this much-needed dialogue, La Americana has the power to reach beyond the choir, and offer a new perspective to communities on both sides of the immigration divide.  For immigrants themselves, the film empowers by giving voice to a common struggle. For native audiences, the film provides a chance to step into the shoes of the other. In this way, La Americana can both be a bridge within communities, as well as a call to action.

Our goal is to use the film to generate a sustained, humane dialogue about immigration reform in key communities, while strengthening and connecting organizations working on immigrants’ rights issues across the United States.  Our campaign will help to make La Americana a powerful tool for your organization, and maximize the impact your screening has with the community.
